- Send marketing and enrollment-related communications from iCheck Energy, and communications necessary to complete enrollment with suppliers you choose, only where you have provided explicit consent
- Improve our marketplace services and customer experience
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
- Verify your identity and prevent fraud
- Deliver text messages related to your marketplace activity, including enrollment confirmations, reminders, and secure links to enrollment documents, where you have opted in to receive SMS communications
3. Information Sharing
We may share your information with:
- Retail energy suppliers you affirmatively select through the iCheck Energy marketplace, solely for the purpose of processing and managing your enrollment
- Utility companies as required to initiate or maintain service
- Service providers who support our operations (such as cloud hosting, messaging delivery platforms, document delivery, analytics, and identity verification), who are contractually restricted from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to iCheck Energy
- Legal authorities when required by law
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Mobile phone numbers, SMS content, and SMS consent data are not shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
